Zachman Framework Certification Announced
Phoenix, AZ - November 18, 2005 - In a gathering of major Enterprise Architects from around the world in Phoenix, AZ this week, Zachman International announced the first in-depth public exposition of the new Zachman Framework Standards, Standards Employment and Certification. These Standards and Certification are designed for serious Enterprise Architecture practitioners who have more than a passing understanding of the Zachman Framework, in order to equip them to take the Zachman Framework to the next logical level of practical deployment.

The Zachman Framework Standards were introduced with reasons for development, background and exposition. In addition, as part of the Standards announcement, intentions to present a new course on the Standards where refinements to the original Enterprise Framework would be presented, differentiation between architecture primitives and implementation composites defined, implementation as differentiated from classification and methodological alternatives presented.

Of paramount significance was the announcement of the Zachman Standards Employment and Certification. Met with overwhelming interest, three levels of Zachman Certification are now available: Education, Testing and Work Products. In addition, there is now certification of Primitive Composition Modeling and Certification of Process of Producing Composites as well as Methodology Certification.
